Curriculum Structure

Foundations of Computer Science (120 ECTS)

Mandatory modules from all areas of computer science provide the necessary foundation for your studies. In each area you need to obtain the number of credits indicated below.

  • Mathematical Foundations (30 ECTS)
  • Theoretical Computer Science (18 ECTS)
  • Computer Engineering (30 ECTS)
  • Practical Computer Science (33 ECTS)
  • Seminar and Practical Lab (9 ECTS)
Elective Courses (10 - 15 ECTS)

A choice of additional elective modules enables you to align your curriculum to your personal interests. Depending on your choice in the other areas, you need to book between 10 and 15 ECTS.

Elective Application Area (21 - 26 ECTS)

The choice of an application area helps you to sharpen your profile by focusing on computer science applications in a specific domain. Depending on your choice of modules in the other areas, you can book modules with a minimum of 21 and a maximum 26 ECTS.
